The Seanad Civil Engagement Group: Group Co-ordinator
GROUP CO-ORDINATOR

The Seanad Civil Engagement Group are a group of independent Senators
who share a commitment to strengthening the links between civil
society and politics. We work together to achieve progress on
equality, environment, social justice and human rights.

We are looking for a GROUP COORDINATOR to join our Oireachtas team.
The co-ordinator will work alongside the Senators and their staff, to
support the administration and co-ordination of collective work, key
initiatives and shared schedules.

This role will be paid through the House of the Oireachtas at
Administrative Assistant (AA) level, beginning at the first point on
the salary scale (€ *,**Apply on the

hours can be claimed to a maximum of 8 hours per week, where
necessary.

society.

* Experience or understanding of policy, politics, legislation.
* Experience in civil society, advocacy, campaigning or community
development.
* Experience in public relations or communications roles.
* Experience in research.
* Experience in events organisation and management.
